Meet Patricia (Pat) Johnson

A candidate for the people – Pat stands for Principled, Accessible and Trustworthy Government

Mercer County native, Patricia Johnson was raised by hardworking middle-class parents. After putting herself through school, she began her nursing career in the critical care unit at Fox Chase Cancer Institute. She has since gained a wide variety of work experience due to her entrepreneurial spirit. Patricia has owned and operated a successful family childcare business out of her home. Her passion for children led her to address Senators and Congressman in support of Bill 549 Chaired by Senator Vitale and Co-Chaired by Senator Shirley Turner. Other ventures include the creation of a medical feeding device and working as the Vice President of Product Development at a medical start-up. Patricia is passionate about the determinants of quality of life and working to create meaningful change. Throughout her life, she has committed endless hours to volunteer work with various community organizations. Her latest project has involved overseeing a team of 30 in making and distributing approximately 7,000 face masks during the coronavirus pandemic. In honor of her hard work, Patricia has received awards, letters, and Challenge coins from the Trenton Police Commissioner, Trenton Fire Departments and Homeland Security which are among her most treasured possessions.

Patricia in a letter once said, “it is easily recognized that when I believe strongly in something, it becomes my passion to fight for what I believe in”. Patricia Johnson is committed to bringing a hard working honest, citizenry government back to politics in New Jersey.
